About The Sport Spectacle

The Sport Spectacle is sports blog with a lot of art. Or an art blog with a lot of sports. Its focus: the art and politics of sports stories, images, and performance.

Every now and again, I write about other matters.

The Sport Spectacle is an extension and revision of From a Left Wing (2007-2013). Over time, that soccer blog opened up to address sports stories more generally – especially where a queer/feminist reading was needed. The Sport Spectacle has a wider optic.
